POUCH ENVY, promiskuitetni alter ego Pera Pintariča, črpa navdih iz jungle-a in techna iz 90-ih, baltimore cluba, ballroom ritmov in svojega netipičnega, osebnega sanjarjenja. Klubski komadi POUCH ENVY si prizadevajo pozabljanje ideje o žanru in veliko prepuščajo poslušalčevi domišljiji in interpretaciji. Perov alter ego mu omogoča, da se bolj skrivnostno ukvarja s svojimi izkušnjami in se kopa po neraziskanih straneh sebe. Z eksperimentiranjem hitrih sprememb BPM-jev, melodičnih idej in žanrov se njegova produkcija in miksi nanašajo na enake občutke kot Gen Z — hitri, nedefinirani in primerni za zožani razpon pozornosti, ki ga je digitalno življenje prineslo mlajšim generacijam. POUCH ENVY je letos debitiral v Bossa Nova Civic Club (Brooklyn, NYC), karanteno pa preživlja produktivno s sestavljanjem novih editov in originalnih produkcij. Perovo delo se razteza od eksperimentalnega hip-hopa in rocka do klasičnih filmskih partitur, njegov alter ego se pa nahaja globoko v plesnih sferah.

POUCH ENVY’s club tracks strive to bend the idea of genre and leave much to the listener’s imagination and interpretation. Per’s alter ego allows him to engage with his lived experiences in a more mysterious way and dig through unexplored sides of himself. By experimenting with quick changes in BPMs, melodic ideas and genre, their production and mixes relate to the same sensibilities as Gen Z—fast-paced, undefined and suitable for the diminished attention span that digital life has brought to the younger generations. POUCH ENVY made his debut at Bossa Nova Civic Club this year and has since been producing throughout the quarantine. Per’s production has spanned from experimental hip-hop and rock to classical movie scores, though his alter ego finds himself deep within the dance realm.
