Matjaž Rušt v zadnjih desetih letih deluje kot dokumentarni fotograf, katerega osrednji interes so ljudje in različni marginalni pojavi sodobnih družb.

Svoje delo je predstavil v številnih uglednih ustanovah doma in v tujini ter zanj prejel nagrade Slovenia Press Photo in Društva novinarjev Slovenije. Skupaj z Robertom Marinom sta leta 2015 izdala knjigo Najlepše mesto na svetu.

Matjaž Rušt has worked as a documentary photographer for the last ten years. At the focus of his interest are people and various marginal phenomena of contemporary societies.

He has exhibited his works at home and abroad, receiving the Slovenia Press Photo Award and the Award of the Slovene Association of Journalists for it. In 2015, together with Robert Marin, he published a book called The Most Beautiful City in the World.
