Varstvo človekovih pravic v družbi avtomatizacije / Human rights protection in the society of automation

Postavlja se vprašanje, kakšne pristopi k nacionalni in mednarodni regulaciji tega področja so najbolj smotrni, upoštevaje prepletenost globalnega gospodarstva, tehnološke značilnosti sistemov in kontekst mednarodnih odnosov.

Technological advancements can support sustainable development goals and contribute to creating optimal conditions for the exercise of human rights, but they can also present significant threats. Currently, most information technologies including AI are subject to self-regulation, and therefore dependent on trust, which has been often broken in the past. Design, development and implementation of AI tools should be compliant with human rights, democracy and the rule of law. The question arises what are the most reasonable approaches to national and international regulation in this field, taking into account the intertwining of the global economy, the technological characteristics of the systems and the context of international relations.
